x “The fanciest piece of gear we employed was the drone for the shots of the hospital.” How to shoot a movie on an iphone”

The Strange Story of Soviet Music On the Bone”

x die Everything But The Girl Website wurde gerade gerelaunched: “In September, bandmember Ben Watt’s independent label Buzzin’ Fly took control of the majority of the Everything But The Girl catalogue from Warner Music, securing the future curation of the duo’s music. From today this means more access to more stuff. The recent deluxe CD album releases are now all on your favourite streaming or download services, packed with demos and bonus tracks. For those who like it classic, the original albums are there too in their original form (including previously unavailable releases like the 1985 American edition of Love Not Money). In addition, the renovated website brings downloadable rare photos in high resolution, detailed updated backstories and links to original videos, live performances and music. And we’re still sorting through the tapes.
While no new Everything But The Girl recordings are currently planned, it is hoped this new era will help shine a fresh light on the existing work Ben and Tracey are still very proud of. It begins again here.” btw, was für tolle Fotos!!!

x apropo fotos. surreale Fotos eines chinesischen Fahrrad-Friedhofs: “Chinese bike share graveyard a monument to industry’s ‘arrogance'”

passend dazu Ol: “Einwegfreundlich”

x Interview mit Andreas Demeter aka Kid Fresh aus der Lodown “Skin” Ausgabe: “Andreas Demeter: The Beauty And The Beast”. ergänzt indirekt den Lil Peep Guardian Artikel: “The lines between the different scenes … are blurring, as people have instant access to music/ fashion subculture online these days. There used to be all these codes, like, you can’t just walk into certain districts wearing certain clothes without getting called out and tested. Nowadays young folks see something online and imitate it because it looks cool or because it’s hyped, without necessarily knowing much about it, and without the need to identify with a certain particular scene. Same with music, people are way less hardline these days about certain niches and scenes they choose to identify themselves with.”
